Hi everybody! Happy Sunday! I hope you all had a lovely week. This week, though I was quite busy, I took the time to stop at Bath and Body Works, they had amazing sales on and I just couldn’t resist! I got quite a few things, so I thought I would show you them!
My favorite thing to get from Bath and Body Works is for sure three-wick candles! I love candles, and they are so big that they last a while! The only thing is, they are quite expensive so I only splurge on them when they go on sale.
The first candle I got was the Cranberry Woods one. First of all, I love the color of the pot! I also, of course, like the scent. It smells kind of sweet and sour, but not like, pastry kind of sweet. I like the scent of the pastry like candles such as the pecan waffle ones or cupcakes one, but I wouldn’t want my home to smell like that, they are quite strong and almost sickly, I find. I feel that it would be quite intense and I would get tired of them in the end. I prefer them in small doses. There is also a hint of cinnamon in it, but to be honest, I can’t really smell it.
The next one I got was Tokyo Petals. The pot is really nice, it is salmon colored (it looks more orange on the photo, but in real life it is more salmon like). I also like the smell. It reminds me of laundry detergent. I know that’s a weird way to describe it, but it reminds me of when I put out my clothes to dry and then my whole room smells like the detergent. It is a nice smell though, quite fresh! They describe it as cherry blossom and fresh strawberries.
The third candle I picked up has to be one of my absolute favorites. It is the Heirloom Apple one. The jar is just beautiful with it’s marble like appearance and it smells amazing! It will be no surprise to you that it smells of apples, the name pretty much gives it away, but it smells sooo good! It reminds me of fall and apple picking. I love it, it is a fresh smell that is perfect for a sunny autumn day!
I then went on to the autumn collection. I already had two of them from last year, but I am really enjoying burning the autumn scents these days and thought I would pick up a few more to make sure I don’t run out! As I said before, I am not the biggest fan of very sweet smells so I stayed clear from them. The first autumnal candle I got was the one called Autumn. I find names like that are what make it difficult to shop online for things such as candles. Anyhow, this one smells quite fresh. It also reminds me a little bit of my Heirloom Apple candle!
The last candle I got was Leaves. If I had to describe it using only a single word, it would have to be autumn (funny, considering they called another one Autumn). I think the scent that makes it so fall-ish is the spice. It also has apples in it, but I feel like the clove scent is the main one. The apple kind of sweetens it a little bit. I would say it is in my fall collection favorites!
The next thing I got were two little body creams. Since I had already spent a fair amount on candles, I didn’t want to buy too much more, but I had never tried the Bath and Body Works’ cream and they were on sale! I took the little ones though.
The first one I got was the Pretty as a peach one. It is a scent that I have had my eyes on for a while, since I really like peach scented things, but had still never got. Of course it is a fruity smell, and it reminds me more of summer than fall or winter, but I guess I will use it to brighten up my dark and cold winter days…
The very last item I got, but by no means the least, was the Hello Beautiful body cream. This one is more on the floral side, but I love it nonetheless. I used to never go for floral-y scents, but I’ve recently come to like the quite a lot! I absolutely can’t wait to start burning those candles and using the body creams!
